Jinxes are people who believe in reincarnation and try to be reincarnated, but somewhere in the process it fails. Usually, jinxes are unable to discern their own identity and are unable to remember who they used to be. Thus, they are generally invisible to society but they can feel the effects of jinxes. Often ntimes, jixes get frustrated with things and cause all sorts of bad luck and accidents to happen.
In one special case of jinx was Zaregus who came to the town of Bumby and gave it particularly bad luck. He was unable to recall his memories and had taken the form of a white ape.
